Sandra L. DeMott Hasenauer, to Rochester Genesee Region of American Baptist Churches USA, as executive minister.
Terry Lester, to Faith Baptist Church, Georgetown, Ky., as interim pastor.
Elizabeth Maye, to Second Avenue Baptist Church, Rome, Ga., as minister to children and youth. She comes from First Baptist Church, New Bern, N.C., where she served as associate pastor of youth and family.
Stephanie Schneider, to First Baptist Church, Glens Falls, N.Y., as pastor.
Ken Wright, to Biltmore Baptist Church, Glen Allen, Va., as pastor. Previously he was pastor of High Hills Baptist Church, Jarratt, Va.
RETIREMENT
Bob Terry, retiring as editor of the Alabama Baptist, newspaper of the Alabama Baptist Convention, effective Dec. 31. He has spent 50 years covering and interpreting news in Baptist newspapers and was an instrumental figure in the formation of Associated Baptist Press.

Zak Ford, ordained to ministry on Oct. 14 by Black Walnut Baptist Church, Alton, Va.
Paul Schneider, ordained to ministry on Oct. 14 by First Baptist Church, Berkeley, Calif.
DEATHS
John L. Carr, 85, died Oct. 9 in Stone Mountain, Ga. He was an ordained minister with the United Methodist church and took his first job as founding pastor of Pleasant Hills United Methodist Church in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. He was associate pastor emeritus of church ministries and former director of continuing education at Candler School of Theology-Emory University in Atlanta, Ga. He is survived by his wife, Adrienne; three sons, David, Robert and John; and nine grandchildren.
Rudolph Fagan, 88, died Oct. 3 in Murfreesboro, Tenn. He was president of the former Stewardship Commission of the Southern Baptist Convention for 20 years. Before that he was pastor of churches in Texas and Florida. He had served as president of the Florida Baptist Convention and chairman of the State Board of Missions. He is survived by his wife, Florrie; a son, Max; daughters, Vicki Hutchings, Myra McCain and Amanda Wells; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
