STAFF CHANGES

Ka’thy Gore Chappell, to Baptist Women in Ministry of North Carolina, as executive director, effective July 1. She currently is leadership development coordinator for Cooperative Baptist Fellowship of North Carolina.

Pam Durso, to NorthHaven Church, Norman, Okla., as interim pastor.

Rob Fox, to CBF Church Benefits, as president, effective July 1. Currently he is vice president of advancement for the Baptist Theological Seminary at Richmond.

Tom Harvey, to Clifton Forge (Va.) Baptist Church, as interim pastor, effective May 1.

Drew Herndon, to Park Cities Baptist Church, Dallas, Texas, as high school minister.

Brandon Minter, to Olive Branch Baptist Church, Blackridge, Va., as associate pastor.

Scott Terry, to Round Oak Baptist Church, Corbin, Va., as associate pastor of family ministry, effective July 1.

Courtney Stamey, to Northside Baptist Church, Clinton, Miss., as senior pastor. She comes from First Baptist Church, Greensboro, N.C., where she has been a pastoral resident.

RETIREMENT

Ted James, retiring as pastor of Round Hill Baptist Church, King George, Va., where he has served since 1999.

DEATH

Randy Arnett, 62, and Kathy Arnett, 61, died March 14 in the Democratic Republic of the Congo from injuries sustained in an auto accident. For over 30 years they had served as theological education strategists for Africa for the SBC’s International Mission Board. They are survived by two daughters, Bevin Wyrick and Jillian Cavness.
