Kellan Monroe, to Deermeadows Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Fla., as worship pastor.

Jerusha Moses, concluding her tenure as minister for children and families at Tabernacle Baptist Church, Richmond, Va.

Otis Moss III, to Mercer University’s McAfee School of Theology, Atlanta, Ga., as professor of homiletics, effective fall 2022. He currently serves as visiting professor of preaching there.

Steven Prinz, to Cambridge Springs (Pa.) Baptist Church, as senior pastor.

Chase Robinson, to First Baptist Church, Burlington, N.C., as senior pastor. He comes from the pastorate of Sandy Plains Baptist Church, Shelby, N.C.

Chris Shade, to Community Church, Barrington, Ill., as lead pastor. He comes from First Baptist Church, Portland, Ore., where he was associate pastor.

Dallas Smith, to Crewe (Va.) Baptist Church, as pastor.

Mark Thompson, to American Baptist Churches of Indiana and Kentucky, as executive minister.

Mindi Welton-Mitchell, to the America Baptist Churches of Wisconsin, as executive minister, effective March 1.

 

RETIREMENTS

Tom Allen, retiring after 23 years as minister of education and administration at First Baptist Church, Southern Pines, N.C.

Marcia Dills, retiring after 27 years as organist at Emerywood Baptist Church, High Point, N.C.

Bill Johnston, retiring after 15 years as associate pastor of Dawson Memorial Baptist Church, Birmingham, Ala.

Jane McCoy, retiring after nearly 23 years as minister of music at First Baptist Church, Weaverville, N.C.

Tim Phillips, retiring as lead pastor of First Baptist Church, Seattle, Wash., where he has served since 2009.

 

ORDINATION

Lenny Wrigley, ordained to gospel ministry on Nov. 21 by Commonwealth Baptist Church, Alexandria, Va.
