Carlton Reeves, retiring after 43 years as pastor of Trinity Baptist Church, Hampton, Va.

DEATHS
Robert LeRoy Adams, 88, died June 18 in Culpeper, Va. He was a retired pastor who served churches in South Carolina, Arizona, North Carolina and Virginia. He is survived by a daughter, Sheila A. Horton; a son, Michael L. Adams; three grandchildren; and four grandchildren.
Hunter B. Hale Jr., 70, died June 18 in Poplar Hill, Va. He served as pastor of Norwood Baptist Church, Forest, Va.; and Iron Gate (Va.) Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Frances; daughters, Heather H. Wright and Christina Selfe; a grandson; and two step-grandchildren.
Jack A. Marcom Jr., 76, died June 18 in Fredericksburg, Va. He had served as pastor of churches in Virginia and Maryland for 52 years. He was pastor of Falmouth and Friendship Baptist churches in Fredericksburg. He had served as a trustee of Bluefield College, Fork Union Military Academy and the SBC’s Radio and TV Commission and the North American Mission Board. He was a U.S. Army Chaplain in the Reserves for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis; two sons, Andy and Steve; and three grandchildren.
